Feb. 22, 2012 – Portrait a Day
The goal tonight was to shoot a silhouette. By trying to set the focus with my short remote trigger, try to get myself in focus, then look at what I shot, then try again…I got frustrated. This was the best I could come up with tonight. When all else fails, edit in Photoshop, I guess. When I popped the original in PS5, I turned saturation and vibrance all the way up to get the red glow. I messed with the other portions to try and get myself as dark as I could, but not too dark. I’ve taken silhouettes before and was able to get what I wanted, so why was tonight so difficult? Maybe I had my ISO too low? My pose is Child’s Pose and it is very relaxing after a hard workout.
